I was born in Provence and left this beautiful place to study at university in Paris and then worked in Africa for several years. But the simplicity and beauty of Provence called me back!

My goal has been to show A Season Away guests an authentic Provence, away from the crowds, to uncover hidden gems not found in guidebooks. This could be something as simple as knowing a hidden spot for a picnic. A combination of shopping for the freshest cheeses, fruit, bread and wine from a local outdoor market and the picnic location next to a stream can make the experience Provencal, if not magical!

As a VillaHost, I welcome guests and give them the keys: the keys of the house of course, but also the keys of my hidden Provence! I'm here to help the guests with advice and to make sure they have a wonderful holiday.

One of the things I appreciate about the A Season Away concept is that by taking a holiday of several weeks you can really get to know an area, like the Vaucluse in Provence. It is only with this added time will the facets of the region unfold, much like unpeeling the layers of an onion.

And these experiences don’t have to be complicated. Some of my best memories are of taking guests up Mount Ventoux with a bottle of wine to watch a spectacular sunset.
