A Season Away

The Luberon features a number of well-known perched villages, such as Gordes and Menerbes, and a host of smaller towns that beckon you with their stone construction and warm, cozy feel, whether sitting at an outdoor café, or dining in a simple bistro. It is easy to imagine yourself a “local” here. For shopping, the Luberon features the biggest antiques market in all of Europe each Sunday along the river, and the best melons in France in Cavaillon. Head up to Colline St. Jaques from the center or Cavaillon and have an amazing view of the Luberon, the Vaucluse and Les Alpilles.
